ABQ Council Watch

Every council meeting on the GOV TV channel, transcribed and scanned for items that touch APD, Fire & Rescue, ACS, and response-affecting ordinances.

Archive coverage

The council meets roughly twice a month. Each cell is one meeting slot in that year. Committee of the Whole sessions are queued below but are not counted here, since they are not regular council meetings.

Correction, 10 September 2026: 2025 and 2026 are nearly complete after all. Meetings streamed live are archived under the channel’s Live tab and never appear in the regular video listing, which is all earlier surveys had checked. Listing that tab turned up 38 unprocessed Council and Committee of the Whole meetings from 2025 and 2026 — about 183 hours. The earlier “under 10% coverage” finding held only because most of the archive was invisible.

Years before 2025 have not been re-surveyed against the Live tab, so those rows still reflect the old listing and understate what exists. For complete historical coverage the city’s Legistar records remain the better source.

Meetings analysed

Newest first. Open a meeting for its flagged items — every timestamp opens the video at that moment. Items marked public comment came from a speaker at the podium rather than from the floor.

Not yet processed

Council and Committee of the Whole sessions from 2025 and 2026 that are on the channel and still need a transcript run. Older backlog is parked until these are done.
